Safety: It Takes All of Us
The President’s Safety Award was created to reward the Woodgrain division that has the best safety performance over the course of each calendar year. The best safety performance is determined by scoring the Total Recordable Incidence Rate, Lost Workday Incidence Rate, and a financial metric that reflects the severity of accidents.
Woodgrain Distribution was awarded the President’s Safety Award in 2014, primarily by keeping accident severity low. At Woodgrain, we are passionate about safety for our employees across all divisions. We are proud of the continued efforts of our Woodgrain Distribution division, and ask that we continue to pride ourselves on the health and safety of our workforce. With further dedication to the common cause, we can have zero accidents in the coming year.
