- Set the top hinge in place on the edge of the door, 7" from the
top of the door.
- The barrel of the hinge should be 1/4" from the edge of the door
and should be on the side to which the door will swing open.
- Holding the hinge in place, cut a 1/8" cut marking outlining the
hinge.
- Repeat the process for the bottom hinge, placing it 11" from the
bottom of the door.
- If there is a middle hinge, center it between the top and bottom
hinges.
